Monday Mischief: flip-flops chewer

Hi, Keanna here for our first ever Monday Mischief post. This year, (paws crossed) I will report on the mischievousness pups-play within our territory…just to let others pets know that we are normal dogs…heheh… :-)

Anyway, you may have heard of this quote:

“A dog is one of the remaining reasons why some people can be persuaded to go for a walk.” - O.A. Battista

…yes?… so if your humans are like our overseer who skip walks for various excuses such as I’m too tired, I’m busy, or it’s raining, etc…

…a similar scene may happen…

Vanilla Bean: yeah..this will remind her that this is the nth day she forgot to take me for a walk...

…yep…Vanilla Bean reckons that missing a walk is like missing a quarter of a day…and she often vents her frustration on Twinkle’s red flip-flops…oh dawg, young pooches often don’t know how to handle disappointment well… I’ll leave her to puncture more holes on that footwear for now…Meanwhile, I’m going check on other pets’ fun new year in a blog hop…

    • dog walk is definitely a “need” and not a “want”…our overseer knows this cuz she’s watching the Dog Whisperer on natgeo so i just kinda remind her if she forgot..heheh :-) – Vanilla Bean

    Haha. Vanilla Bean is up to mischief. What’s her breed by the way? Walks are pretty important for dogs. I bring my Aspins out so they can breathe the fresh air and interact with nature.

    • hi haopee…glad you drop by…Vanilla Bean is a multi-genaration Shih-Tzu/Poodle mix (each of her parents were 50% Shih-Tzu, 25% Poodle and the other 25% is ???? I’ve been reminded time and again of how important walks are for dogs…this year it’s the top of my new year’s resolution list or else (she’s going to sink her teeth on my heels next)…- Twinkle

  11. Thanks Vanilla Bean for another idea for a way to get my person out for a walk. This week it’s been easy to get her out though, because the weather has been perfect.

    • well good for ya Bongo…glad to hear ya hav a perfect weather…here in our countryside we have wet mornings and afternoons; the weather is sooo unpredictable that’s why i need to do somethin about it or my walk is cancelled…-Vanilla Bean

    I’m with you, I think you had no other option but to protest with the flip flop – I’m thinking you made your point buddy!! :)

    If my Mum is slow to take me for a run in the morning I sure let her know!! :)
