How Keanna got her name
On the night of the 6th of May, 2006 Pikenya (the resident Chihuahua) gave birth to four puppies — three males and one female. I remembered waiting on my pet with excitement as each pup popped out of her. We named the female pup Keanna after the Pinoy Big Brother (Celebrity Edition) winner Keana Reeves.
Keanna is small and funny dog; she has expressive asymmetrical ears which give her an amusing appearance. She inherited her right ear from Merrick (Poodle-mix) and her left ear from Pikenya (Chinuahua-mix). Though she’s five years old, she occasionally exhibits puppy-like antics that cheer us up and her doggie buddies. How? Well… if you’re not alert, this dog would lick and wash your face. She would also express her affection by rubbing her head against your leg.
