Lunchbreak of a carnivore

This is Vanilla Bean during lunchtime today. The chow is Tocino –Philippine style, a fried dish made from pork fat back sliced into thin strips. Obviously, she enjoys the chunks of fried pork for she licks her lips as she eats the meat.

She had her first taste of meat when she was just 3 weeks old; the litter-mates grab a bite of  beef tidbits from mom-Princess’ breakfast . Since then, her idea of a meal expanded from dog-mom’s milk to porridge to solid food. Dog food is out of the menu…this 7 weeks old Shih-Poo puppy definitely prefers the real thing…beef, pork, fish,or chicken as long as it’s  cooked MEAT.
