to lick or not to lick?

July 21, 2012 — When Mami Orlin (big momma’s sister) and two friends dropped by for a short visit, I was on patrol at the upper garden while the gals were in their crates… except for Max. I was a bit worried because he’s shy with visitors and tends to woof at new faces coming over to our home. So, I barked down these reminders to him:

♥Always give people a friendly greeting.  (Though he’s a Shih-Tzu, he still needs practice with his social skills.)

♥Be aware of when to hold your tongue, and when to use it. (It’s impolite to lick at folks without their permission. Also, Mami Orlin’s pets would not appreciate it.)

It turned out he did well with the ladies but he woofed at the dude .

Woof without inhibitions... you will not be shushed.
